Arizona League White Sox

Ian Clarkin got the nod for the AZL Sox and struck out 5 in 2.2 innings pitched. Lency Delgado was also on fire, going 3-5. While the Royals came back to tie it in the 9th, the Sox pulled ahead in the 10th when Harvin Mendoza drove in Lency Delgado. It turned out that wasn’t enough as the Royals scored twice more in the bottom of the inning.

Rookie Great Falls Voyagers 

Slow and steady wins the race and that saying held true for the Voyagers. They found themselves in a 4-2 hole at the end of the 4th but climbed their way out of it. They scored seven runs on 17 hits to get the win at Missoula.

It was SNL Night at the ballpark in Kannapolis and the Intimidators did not disappoint! Craig Dedelow hit a walk-off single to right field to plate Luis Curbelo for the 4-3 win.

High-A Winston-Salem Dash

Our Brandon Anderson drove eleven hours to watch this one in Winston-Salem. Unfortunately, the Dash’s four game winning streak came to an end as Down East rallied for 6 runs in the eighth to win it. Brandon did get a chance to meet Luis Robert afterwards so the night wasn’t all that bad.

Double-A Birmingham Barons

The Barons lost their 2-0 lead in the sixth when the Lookouts tied it up on a 2-RBI single. Chattanooga then walked it off on a Brent Rooker RBI-double in the bottom of the ninth.

If there’s one take away from this game, it’s the dominant performance by Spencer Adams. He threw seven innings of shutout ball in a big Saturday night win for the Knights.
