White Sox starting pitcher Manny Banuelos faced 9 batters in the White Sox loss to the Cubs. The starter gave up 2 runs, both earned, on 4 walks, but didn’t give up a hit in the outing. Juan Minaya came in to put out the fire but ended up doing more damage to the team. Minaya faced 6 batters, gave up 6 runs, all earned, on 6 hits and a walk, raising his ERA to 21.00. Ryan Burr cruised through 2.1 IP with 2 K’s, 0 Hits, 0 BB, and 0 Runs. It took the White Sox 4 innings to finally break through and put some runs on the board.
