Join the Sox On 35th team as an MiLB Contributor!

by Michael Suareo

As the 2025 season kicks off and the White Sox rebuild continues in full effect, we are looking to expand our coverage of the farm system for fans. Because of this, we are looking to grow our team with MiLB-specific contributors this season!

Sox On 35th is a Chicago-based sports media company founded by Joe Binder (@JoeBinder) in 2016, centering on the creation and distribution of original written content, graphic designs, photos, videos, podcasts, and more. Sox On 35th has amassed over 100,000 combined followers on social media and a team of talented contributors. Along the way, we have partnered with companies such as NBC Sports Chicago, USA Today, BreakingT, STN Video, and Guaranteed Rate.

If you’re passionate about baseball and want to get your start in sports journalism, or you’ve written before and want to get your name out there again, this is the team for you! We are looking for content creators who want to share their work with the White Sox fan base and the rest of baseball social media! The new MiLB contributor opening is described further below, along with instructions on how to apply.

Please note that prior experience creating content for an online platform is always beneficial, but certainly not required for this role. We have a dedicated team of contributors who are more than happy to share their knowledge, guidance, and expertise with those who are just getting their feet wet in the sports media realm.
