Let the rumors fly! On Saturday, Rick Hahn spoke during a portion of a Saber Seminar in Boston. According to the event's website, the two day seminar features a variety of guests associated with baseball in support of the Jimmy Fund and the Angioma Alliance. When fielding questions from the audience, the White Sox GM was asked about pitching prospects being called up. Hahn reportedly hinted at Reynaldo Lopez making his White Sox debut this Friday vs. the Kansas City Royals, as first reported by Jim Margalus' Twitter account, @SouthSideSox.
Asked about pitching prospects being called up, Hahn said "Maybe buy tickets for Friday night."

He said opponents factor in. Starting in Fenway or against Astros maybe not the best way to introduce Lopez.

When looking ahead, Reynaldo Lopez is scheduled to make his next start on Sunday vs. the Gwinnett Braves. After that, his turn would likely come up again on Friday, adding more fuel to the fire. As stated in the tweets above, Hahn said the opponents factored in when deciding on a day for Reynaldo's White Sox debut, so the Kansas City Royals would definitely seem like a good option. Nothing has been made official by the team just yet, but all signs seem to indicate Friday is an ideal date. Stay tuned for updates.
