The Chicago White Sox are riding a four-game winning streak and have moved back within two games of the second wild card spot. Had it not been for the rough trip to Minnesota last week, they may have made a bigger dent in the power rankings across the nation.
As we near the end of May, let’s take a look at where our White Sox stand amongs the media…

That would be their longest losing streak since they dropped five straight to the Mariners and Rays back between April 6-10. There was some momentum on the South Side of Chicago earlier this month, and Lucas Giolito continues to look like an ace-in-the-making at age 24, but the Pale Hose should probably start making a list of their best trade chips. |

Through May 13, Chicago ranked a middling 17th with a .742 team OPS, but led the majors with a robust .320 team BABIP that, once adjusted for park and league, was among the highest of all time. Since then, that number has been a more pedestrian .295. Playing the Astros and Twins on the road might have something to do with this. |

If they can continue to make more strides, do they dare bring up Dylan Cease and perhaps make a call to, I don’t know….Dallas Keuchel? Just a thought…. |
