The White Sox suffered their second loss of Spring Training today, falling 14-5 at the hands of the Texas Rangers. Unfortunately, not all of the Texas damage was off of no-name White Sox pitchers, as Lance Lynn and Craig Kimbrel were both roughed up. Lynn surrendered 3 runs, all on homers, in 2.2 IP. Kimbrel, meanwhile, struck out a batter before being tagged for 4 earned runs in 0.2 IP. Offensively, only three extra base-hits were recorded, with a homer by Romy Gonzalez and doubles by Eloy Jimenez and Yoelqui Cespedes.
A few other notable players made appearances today, including: Luis Robert, Jose Abreu, Yasmani Grandal, Andrew Vaughn, Liam Hendriks, Garrett Crochet, and Matt Foster.
