People were starting to worry about when the White Sox’ bats would be able to break out of what felt like an entire Spring slump. They did so in earnest today, putting up seven runs and clubbing two homers to back Giolito is a 7-2 victory. With the win, the White Sox improved to 7-10-5 on the Spring.

This is where the action was today for the White Sox, as they pounded out seven runs on 14 hits in the winning effort. Tim Anderson and Eloy Jimenez both homered and doubled, and Luis Robert was the only starter to not record a hit in the effort. Plenty of highlights from a great offensive day below!
Pitchers
Lucas Giolito continued being an ace this afternoon, completing 4.2 scoreless innings, giving up two hits, walking three, and striking out four. He lowered his Spring ERA to 1.56. Michael Kopech (1.1 IP) and Aaron Bummer (1.0 IP) also added scoreless innings, while Evan Marshall and Ryan Burr each surrendered a late run in the game. Adam Eaton added some nice effort on defense in an all-around quality day for the White Sox.
