While we weren’t able to watch today, Lance Lynn made his debut on the mound for the White Sox. He struck out three batters in two scoreless innings, but the offense wasn’t able to generate enough for the win.
Position Players
There wasn’t much exciting offense to speak of for the Sox this afternoon, as only 4 total hits were registered. Tim Anderson, Yoan Moncada, and Jose Abreu each registered a walk, while Andrew Vaughn, Jonathan Lucroy, Micker Adolfo, and Adam Engel each produced a hit.
Pitchers
As said above, Lance Lynn opened the game for the Sox and pitched two scoreless innings with three strikeouts.
Evan Marshall struck out two batters in one scoreless inning. Codi Heuer gave up two hits and struck out one in one scoreless inning. Some less notable pitchers also made appearances, including Ryan Burr, Felipe Paulino, and Connor Sadzeck, who gave up 3 runs in his appearance. All told, a good day for the White Sox pitching staff at the major league level.
