With the start of the White Sox regular season postponed due to coronavirus concerns, NBC Sports Chicago has decided to re-air 70 victories from the 2005 season from now until June. Today’s MVP in terms of Win Probability Added (WPA) was Jermaine Dye with 25.1 percentage points added after a big day at the plate. Scotty Pods was the runner-up with 14.6 points.

Scott Podsednik stole second and third base off Detroit’s starter Wil Ledezma to bring his season total to six. He went on to have the second-most in all of baseball by the end of April with 10 stolen bases, just one behind Minnesota’s Torii Hunter who had 11.

The White Sox scored three runs in the same inning three different times in this game – the first, fifth, and sixth innings. Jermaine Dye also hit his third home run, Jon Garland earned his third win, and Juan Uribe committed his third error.
