Eloy Jimenez provided two huge home runs and three hits overall, while Evan Marshall came on in the seventh and gave up what looked to be the winning home run to Roberto Perez after Dylan Cease was pulled from the game. By the way, yes, you read that right, Eloy Jimenez added a combined 53.1 percentage points to the White Sox’ chances of winning today. Incredible stuff.

Dylan Cease reached a new career high for strikeouts in the game, striking out 11 Indians batters over his 6.2 innings of work. His Curveball was the best it’s been all season, and he had incredible command of all of his pitches. These sorts of performances on a consistent are just around the corner for Dylan Cease.

In an incredible show of his power, the expected batting average (xBA) on Eloy Jimenez’s second home run of the game was just 0.240. Somehow, it found its way over the wall as the game-winning run. Gotta love the juiced balls too, am I right?

With his performance tonight, Eloy Jimenez now has four multi-homer games this season: one against the Astros, one against the Indians, and two against the Yankees. Pretty solid resume right there.
