In game adjustments – with the help of James McCann- continue to be a sign of maturity for Giolito this season, and have played a large role in his success.

Through 313 at-bats this season, Tim Anderson has drawn just eight walks. The hot-hitting Ryan Goins has already surpassed this total in just 67 plate appearances, drawing 11 walks thus far. Could his veteran versatility, combined with Danny Mendick’s excellent campaign, mean an end to Yolmer Sanchez’s South Side career in 2020?
