Happy Friday, Sox fans!
I have to start this off by saying that everyone on Twitter had themselves a week and made it very easy to find content for this article. It was especially great to see the reactions and #ChugsForDubs vids from y’all after yesterday’s clincher, which probably could’ve been enough on its own to fill out this week’s edition.
Before we get to the tweets, I just wanted to reiterate that if you come across something that you think deserve consideration, please DM me on Twitter @JoeBinder. I really appreciate all of you who have been helping me out to date as its been huge when putting these together. However, I’m going to be relying even more heavily on you all in the coming weeks as I would like to include some news fans who might not normally make it on my radar. With playoffs starting up and some things outside of the Sox On 35th operations coming up for me personally, I would really appreciate all of your help!
Now, let’s take a look back at the week that was in the Sox Twittersphere.
Humor
This is where we encourage you to go for the laughs. Since this category is almost always going to be the most selective of the few, you’ve got to be on your A-game to land here.
Last week’s winner: Ali White Claw (@aliwhitesox)
Passion, Pride, and Tradition
The root of what it means to be a member of the White Sox and a fan of the team. These are a collection of tweets that don’t necessarily check the box for our humor and analysis categories. Sometimes, they can be emotional takes about how we’re all feeling during a certain game. Other times, they can be as simple as a positive statement or a personal creation like a painting or graphic design. It’ll vary from week to week but I think you get the gist.
Last week’s winner: Chris Lanuti (@ChrisLanuti)
Analysis
If you like to dive deep into the stats or make close observations about various aspects of the team, this is the category for you!
Last week’s winner: BeefLoaf (@MrDelicious13
Verified Accounts
Pretty self-explanatory here. This category is reserved for your favorite verified accounts and media members.
Last week’s winner: Tie between Jason Benetti (@jasonbenetti) and Adam Amin (@adamamin)
As always, if you come across any tweets that you would like to submit for consideration, shoot me a DM or tag me on Twitter @JoeBinder.
See you back here on next Friday for another edition!
