Tickets on sale March 15th for new White Sox home opener

by Joe Binder

The White Sox have released new information on how to acquire single-game tickets.

According to a press release, single-game tickets for the new 2022 White Sox home opener go on sale to the public on Tuesday, March 15 at 3 p.m. CT exclusively on whitesox.com. The South Siders will take on Seattle on Tuesday, April 12 with the first pitch scheduled at a new time of 3:10 p.m. CT.

“White Sox baseball is back, and we are ready to welcome our fans home to Guaranteed Rate Field,” said Brooks Boyer, White Sox chief revenue and marketing officer. “White Sox Opening Day holds a special place in the hearts of our fans. We want to be sure those Sox fans who made their plans to start the season with us on March 31 have the opportunity to keep their own White Sox baseball traditions going.”

Fans who already purchased tickets for the originally scheduled Opening Day, including season ticket holders and single-game ticket buyers, will receive information about exclusive pre-sale opportunities for the new White Sox home opener. The organization asks that if you have any questions about your tickets to contact tickets@chisox.com.

The first 20,000 fans who enter the ballpark on White Sox Opening Day will take home the original promotion of the 2021 American League Central Champs Pennant, presented by BMO. Original promotional dates are subject to change with additional giveaways to be announced at a later date. The previously released promotional schedule can be viewed in full here.

The Sox also said single-game tickets, as well as full, partial, and group ticket packages for the remainder of the season, are available now. For the full schedule and the most up-to-date information, we recommend checking out whitesox.com.
