The White Sox earned their second win of Spring Training with a 4-1 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Chicago strung together nine innings of one-run baseball with nine different pitchers throwing one inning apiece. Jonathan Steiver was the lone pitcher to concede a run, while Jake Diekman, Lane Ramsey, and J.B. Olson each recorded a pair of strikeouts during their inning of work.
The offense had a fairly strong day with 11 hits and four walks. Luis Robert Jr. scored Tim Anderson on a double in the third. Seby Zavala blasted the lone home run of the day, a two-run bomb in the sixth. A Billy Hamilton run off of a bunt single by Sebastian Rivero rounded out the scoring for the White Sox in the eighth.
The White Sox have now improved to 2-2 on the Spring.
