The Charlotte Knights captured their second win in as many days to clinch their first series win of the year. After a shaky first two innings, Davis Martin leveled out to complete five innings of work. Zach Remillard’s performance was the best of the day, as he finished a 4-for-4 game at the plate by scoring the game-winning run on a wild pitch in the eighth.
