• Kelvin Herrera (RHP) was sent to Triple-A Charlotte as part of a rehab assignment. He is recovering from a right oblique strain.
• Matt Skole (1B) and Seby Zavala (C) were recalled from Triple-A Charlotte prior to Friday’s game in Philadelphia. A.J. Reed (1B) was sent down to Triple-A Charlotte following Thursday’s game, and Welington Castillo (C) was placed on the family leave list Friday morning.
• Alcides Escobar was released from the White Sox organization. He spent all of this season with Triple-A Charlotte. The veteran voiced his displeasure with the organization on Twitter.
