Ian Clarkin got the nod for the AZL Sox and struck out 5 in 2.2 innings pitched. Lency Delgado was also on fire, going 3-5. While the Royals came back to tie it in the 9th, the Sox pulled ahead in the 10th when Harvin Mendoza drove in Lency Delgado. It turned out that wasn’t enough as the Royals scored twice more in the bottom of the inning.

Slow and steady wins the race and that saying held true for the Voyagers. They found themselves in a 4-2 hole at the end of the 4th but climbed their way out of it. They scored seven runs on 17 hits to get the win at Missoula.

Our Brandon Anderson drove eleven hours to watch this one in Winston-Salem. Unfortunately, the Dash’s four game winning streak came to an end as Down East rallied for 6 runs in the eighth to win it. Brandon did get a chance to meet Luis Robert afterwards so the night wasn’t all that bad.
