Group Sales Executive

Job Description: 

The Group Sales Executive is responsible for sales, service and renewal of all group tickets, party areas, fundraisers, theme nights, grand slam groups and new initiatives. The ideal candidate will develop strategies to cover all potential corporate, fundraising, and general opportunities in the Chicagoland area. They will also be responsible for selling season tickets and will have the ability to sell a full menu of ticket offerings for season plans and premium seating areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Each group sales executive is responsible for selling their portion of the Group Budget and Goal.
  • Research and prospect for new business leads in the areas of corporate, fundraising, and/or general opportunities.
  • Continue to push new ideas for unique group sales opportunities and up-sell features.
  • Attend local area business conventions and networking opportunities to promote White Sox group ticket sales and to distribute business cards and gather sales leads.
  • Arrange face-to-face meetings with new and existing group customers at Rate Field or in the customer’s place of business.
  • Work on continually improving presentations to group customers by providing recommendations and contributing to the creation of all sales collateral materials, and suggested changes to the group portion of the website.
  • Attend weekly Tickets Sales & Group Department meetings to provide updates on group ticket sales progress and to brainstorm new sales ideas.
  • Complete thorough synopsis of each Grand Slam Group at the end of the year.
  • Organize all Grand Slam Group events on-field and pre-game functions with Game Operations and other departments.
  • Collaborate with Sponsorship and Game Operations to grow existing Theme Nights and to create new events.
  • Maintain all accounts in CRM & Ticketmaster databases and continually monitor the progress of all groups in the sales funnel.
  • Assist in the creation of online offers by creating/submitting error free work to the Box Office, FEVO, Ticketmaster, and Marketing Department. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned for game day and non-game day events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college/university in a related field
  • 2-3 years of prior sales experience, preferably in sports/entertainment (inside sales experience a plus).
  • Familiarity with Archtics and Microsoft CRM Platform a plus.
  • Must be highly motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong presentation skills a must.
  • Superior time management skills, you must be detail-oriented and organized, with a proven ability to multi-task
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Must have advanced computer skills (Word, Excel & Power Point, etc.)
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays as dictated by the home baseball schedule and other outside sales events.

Compensation:

Minor League Assistant Athletic Trainer

Job Description:

The Chicago White Sox are hiring Minor League Seasonal Assistant Athletic Trainers for our 2025 season. These positions will be based out of our Phoenix-Spring Training Complex and with our full-season affiliate teams (Charlotte, Birmingham, Winston-Salem, and Kannapolis.) Assistant Athletic Trainers will report at the beginning of Spring Training 2025 and work through the end of the Minor League affiliate seasons. They will work under the direct supervision of the Head Major League Team Physician, Affiliate Team Physician, Major League Head Athletic Trainer, and Minor League Athletic Training Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-field emergency medical care.
  • Assist in the evaluation of baseball specific injuries and general medical conditions.
  • Assist in the development of rehabilitation and return to play progressions (i.e., throwing, hitting, running)
  • Perform daily treatments and ensure adherence to maintenance exercise routines.
  • Collaborate with the Strength and Conditioning, Sports Science, Physical Therapy, and Player Development staff to develop and implement rehabilitation plans/initiatives.
  • Learn and aid in the proper documentation within the MLB EMR system.

The Chicago White Sox are hiring a Minor League Strength & Conditioning Coach. This is a full-time position that will be assigned to our Low A affiliate in Kannapolis, North Carolina. The coach will work closely with the White Sox Medical and Player Development Departments to optimize player health and performance outcomes during the return to performance process.

The coach will immediately report to Glendale, Arizona to learn our program, assist in all camps, and spring training. The coach will then be with our Low A affiliate for the entire season from April to mid-September and then assist with our organization off-season camps.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively within the Sports Performance Department in the disciplines of Sports Science, Performance Nutrition, Mental Performance, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Training to develop holistic athlete centered programs.
  • Implementation and teaching of organization’s strength and conditioning program.
  • Prescribe and teach individualized physical development program based on athletes ongoing physical assessments throughout the year.

The duration of the position is February 1st – September 30th, 2025. The coach will report to Glendale, Arizona to learn our program, assist in all camps, spring training, extended spring training and the Arizona Complex League season.
