It’s everyone’s worst nightmare. GM Rick Hahn announced on Friday that Michael Kopech has a significant UCL tear. He will likely undergo Tommy John and miss the remainder of 2018 season, as well as the entire 2019 season. The team says he is expected to be ready by Spring Training 2020.
