Like many of us, it appears the White Sox are ready to look forward to 2024.
This afternoon, the White Sox released a video that displayed their 2024 regular season schedule. The season will both begin and end against the Tigers, with Opening Day set to be at home on March 28. The team will end the season on September 29 in Detroit.
The Sox also get an early visit from the Braves (April 1-3), making their first appearance at Guaranteed Rate Field since 2016 with the new balanced scheduled in effect for a second straight season. June looks to be one of the tougher months of the season for the White Sox, with the Brewers, Red Sox, Mariners, Diamondbacks, Astros, and Dodgers all on the schedule for the month. A stretch in late August also poses a big threat, with the Rangers, Mets, Orioles, and Red Sox making up a daunting 12-game stretch. The club will make trips to Philadelphia and the Nation’s capital next year as well.
However, it does remain unclear what sort of team the White Sox will be fielding in 2024, as they are approaching the 2023 Trade Deadline with a sell-off in sight. The All-Star Game will take place on Tuesday, July 16, in the Rangers’ new ballpark in Arlington, Texas.

How about for next year renaming Guaranteed Rate Field the Turd Bowl since that is the quality of the team that resides there!
The first sentence says that “Like many of us, the White Sox are ready to be look forward to the 2024 season.” Based on what we have seen with this team, if you can call it a team, is there anything to look forward to, now or any other time?
When the above states that it is unclear what sort of team the White Sox will field next year, I would prefer not to know! What you don’t know can’t hurt you! Should the theme for 2024 be “White Sox 2024, The Nightmare Continues!”? Should the White Sox adopt as their theme song the Paper Lace Song “The Night Chicago Died” and change it to sing “The Century The White Sox Died!”?
