- On Monday, another former White Sox, Danny Farquhar, reached a minor-league deal with the New York Yankees.
Wonderful story: Danny Farquhar is signing a minors deal with Yankees. Farquhar has recovered from life threatening brain hemorrhage suffered early last season while with the White Sox. Great response saved him. Now he is ready to go.

Farquhar suffered a brain hemorrhage last season when with the Sox, putting his baseball career and life in jeopardy. The Sox On 35th crew wishes Danny and his family all the best in New York!
- As for rumors, all has been quiet on the Manny Machado front recently. The only new development regarding the White Sox was first reported by Jason Kinander of FanSided. According to Kinander and later Ken Rosenthal, the White Sox have shown interest in Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson.

On rumors of Joc Pederson trade to #WhiteSox: #Dodgers have been discussing Pederson in possible deals, rival executives say. CWS one of clubs in those conversations, according to sources. Not known if talks are advanced to point where teams are close to a deal.
