White Sox Update: Burger, Roster Cuts, Schultz, Bummer

Aaron Bummer threw a 25-pitch bullpen today that he feels went really well.

"I'm just getting through bullpens and we move from bullpens to simulated games, then simulated games into real games. I know that I'm not a starter that needs 2-3 innings or anything like that."

Neither Hanser Alberto nor Romy Gonzalez have played the last few days. Pedro Grifol said the latter has had some “body soreness,” but expects to ramp up the usage of both after tomorrow’s off day and some camp cuts are made

Burger: "It was unbelievable. It’s cool having him in the stands and knowing mom is up there with him. The only thing you get a little nervous about are foul balls and making sure they don’t hit him. But other than that, it’s really cool to share that experience with him."
