White Sox Update – January 23, 2019

Here’s your daily White Sox news and rumors update for January 23rd, 2019.

    • The White Sox reportedly offered catcher Yasmani Grandal a multi-year offer deal earlier in the offseason, per Robert Murray of The Athletic. 

      Grandal signed with the Milwaukee Brewers on a one-year, $16 million deal with a $16 million option for the 2020 season.

    • The White Sox announced that SoxFest 2019 is officially sold out.

    • A few members of the White Sox visited the Englewood Family Center on Wednesday afternoon.

      Members of the organization included Rick Renteria, Daniel Palka, and Tim Anderson.

    • Palka, Anderson, and Renteria spoke with the media at the afternoon event. Here’s what they had to say:
